I made a little amigurumi hedgehog for a friend this weekend. I can't believe it took me so long to get his spines attached.
He's so cute though...I used an owl template that I found in an animals book I had and then attached his feet, tail arms and nose separately. You can see a little bit of the black thread I used...i should've found thread that was similar to the body color. The eyes are just circular black beads sewn to his face.
The spines or hair took the longest amount of time, because each one had to be attached individually.
Anyway, enjoy the cuteness!

Blue Angels Seafair 2011

I saw the Blue Angels again this year. I walked out onto the east side of the I-90 Bridge (Mercer Island) to watch this year. Last year I ended up on the West side. It was quite hot this time around...
I got a few good pictures from the show, but if I could film some of the fly-bys it'd be even more impressive to you. It was a great way to spend the day with my brother!
